About Us

Your friendly guides to Tahoe's best-kept secrets.

The Alpenglow Team

We are a group of friends who moved to Tahoe and fell in love with it’s beauty in all forms. Two East coasters and one Cali girl come from different backgrounds but now have launched this new exciting endeavor to bring our love of Tahoe to you.

Ed Broadbelt (Captain/Co-Owner)
Ed moved to Tahoe from Delaware in 2007, initially for just one winter, but quickly found himself enamored with the area’s beauty and lifestyle. In the winter, he works as a Ski and Ride School Manager at Heavenly Mountain Resort. Come summer, Ed’s passion shifts to the lake, where he has spent 5 years at the helm of the Radiance, a classic wooden boat. Recently, he became the new owner of the Tahoe, expanding his ventures on the water. Visit CruiseTahoe.com to experience Ed’s dedication to sharing Tahoe’s natural splendor.

Kyle McSparron (Co-Owner)
Kyle moved to Tahoe from New Jersey on 2010 to pursue being a snowboard coach. And once he permanently moved here he set out to start his own electrical business with Blue Sky Electrical Solutions.

Faith McSparron (Co-Owner)
Faith moved to Tahoe from Placerville a couple of years ago and she landed herself a guy in Kyle to be by her side in life’s adventures.

We hope you join us soon. We’d love to show you our amazing home.

Radiance

1958 Century Coronado 21'

This classic runabout was lovingly restored by Al Fink, former President of the Century Boat Club and original owner of this Coronado.

Every piece of wood was removed, copied or crafted, then replaced – white oak and mahogany.

All the chrome was re-plated.

The upholstery was custom manufactured for this boat.

All instruments were sent out for full restoration.

The wiring is all new.

The engine has been completely rebuilt along with both carburetors.

17 coats of varnish provide a beautiful depth to the finish.

Fiberglass bottom installed over wood and routed perfectly for ease of use.

This boat was never in water following the restoration. It is as close to a new 1958 Century Coronado 21′ you can get without going back in time. Imagine yourself cruising the crystal clear waters of Lake Tahoe in this iconic woody.
